Availability: Not all payment methods can be used for all products or services. Cheque, direct debit, and wire transfer are only available to business accounts.
Fees:
An administrative fee of $3 applies for direct debit (ACSS/PAD) mandate creation.
An administrative fee of $23 applies to wire transfer payments.
An NSF fee of $48 applies to failed or returned payments on some payment methods (e.g., cheque, direct debit) for every instance of presentment or re-presentment of the payment instrument.
Disputed (i.e., charged back) payments that are resolved in the merchant’s favour may be subject to a $40 dispute fee.
Invoices have a 3-day grace period after their due date for payment without incurring a late fee.
After this period, a 4% late fee (minimum $2) may apply.
Note: For Interac eTransfer payments, a reference such as the invoice number must be included in the message section. Otherwise, the payment may not be processed and may be returned.
